What actually moves the price
Access
How close can a truck and skid steer get? Fence lines, slopes, septic fields, narrow gates all add time.
Size & species
A 50-foot pine and a 50-foot oak don't price the same. Hardwood, lean, and dead wood change the work.
What's nearby
Trees over houses, decks, fences, sheds, or vehicles take more rigging and time than open-yard work.
Debris & cleanup
Hauling everything off costs more than chipping in place. We quote both ways if you want.
Stump & grinding
Removing the tree and grinding the stump are two jobs. Sometimes you want both, sometimes just the tree.
Ground conditions
Saturated ground can mean mats, smaller equipment, or a reschedule to protect your yard.
How we keep estimates honest
- We come look. No phone-call quotes for jobs that need eyes on them.
- The number is written down — service, scope, debris handling, and total.
- If we find something unexpected, we stop and talk before the meter runs.
- If the job comes in faster than expected, the estimate doesn't change on you — that's not your problem.
